Elect Dina Titus - for U.S. Congress District Three

This week I was proud to visit Southern Nevada to support one of the hardest working Members of Congress.  Since Dina’s election to the House of Representatives in 2008 her priorities have been tackling jobs and housing, the two major challenges facing District Three.  Her Congressional office was one of the first in the country to help homeowners stand up to the banks, saving hundreds of families from foreclosure.

Dina is being challenged by a conservative Republican who stands against all that she has accomplished in her year in Congress.  Senator Joe Heck, who dropped out of the Governors race when he was polling at one percent, says we are heading towards a “socialist tyranny”.

This is what we are up against and why I am here to ask that you contribute $25, $50, $100, or more today.  Dina needs your help to stand up to the more than $1.5 million dollars that National Tea Party allies are spending lying about Dina’s record.

Dina has been working hard fighting to create jobs and reverse the downhill slide we were on when she was elected after eight years of George Bush.  I know people in Southern Nevada are hurting and that’s why I support Dina.

As our state and nation emerge from this recession we need leaders like Dina who will create meaningful tax incentives that allow small businesses to grow.  She has spent her entire career fighting for middle-class Nevadans, those who have been taken advantage of by greedy Wall Street banks and squeezed by insurance companies.  That’s why she voted against TARP and the bailouts and voted to block pay raises for members of Congress.  Meanwhile her opponent has been in the pockets of the same corporations that Dina has been fighting.

I am proud to be supporting Dina’s re-election efforts and I ask once more that you make an immediate contribution to Dina’s campaign.  She is a proven leader who needs your help to continue standing up for the values that we share.
